Acuwellness: Ear Acupuncture for Stress Relief

Acuwellness, also known as the NADA protocol, is a five-point ear acupuncture technique developed in the 1970s to aid in addiction recovery. It has since been found to work for anyone. At Wellington Wellness Clinic, Acuwellness helps reduce cravings, including food, eases stress, anxiety, and insomnia, and promotes overall balance. During a 45-minute session, clients relax in a zero-gravity chair while the ear acupuncture points are stimulated. Clients generally report a feeling of greater calm and lightness after a treatment.
Ear Seeding: Acupressure for Emotional and Physical Wellness

Ear seeding involves placing tiny gold-plated or stainless-steel beads on specific acupressure points in the ear. These beads, held in place with clear adhesive, apply gentle pressure to the points, promoting emotional and physical healing. Sessions last 45 minutes. The beads typically remain in place for 4-7 days, offering continuous benefits.
Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT): Tapping for Stress Reduction

EFT, commonly known as “tapping,” is a body-mind self-help method that combines cognitive therapy and acupressure elements. By tapping on specific meridian points while focusing on distressing thoughts or emotions, clients can reduce anxiety, stress, and other negative feelings. This technique is particularly beneficial for those dealing with trauma, phobias, or chronic stress.
